The AU RCBO 25A FP 415V AC 10kA 100mA C Curve is a four pole protection device that integrates the functionality of both an MCB & an RCCB into a single unit. It is specifically designed for three phase systems requiring reliable protection against electrical faults.
With a 25A current rating, this RCBO is suitable for medium to higher load three phase circuits such as machinery, power distribution lines, & commercial installations. The 100mA leakage sensitivity is typically used for equipment protection & fire prevention where higher leakage thresholds are acceptable.
How the RCBO Works
This four pole RCBO operates as a complete protection system:
• Detects overload & short circuit conditions similar to an MCB
• Detects earth leakage currents similar to an RCCB
• Trips automatically when abnormal conditions are detected
• Disconnects all three phases & neutral simultaneously
This ensures complete isolation of the system & enhances safety in three phase installations.
