The AU RCBO 40A DP 240V AC 10kA 300mA C Curve is a compact protection device that combines the functionalities of an MCB & an RCCB into a single unit. It is designed to protect electrical circuits from overload, short circuit, & earth leakage faults with high reliability.
With a 40A current rating, this RCBO is suitable for high load applications such as heavy appliances, power circuits, & industrial equipment. The 300mA leakage sensitivity is typically used for fire protection & equipment safety where higher leakage thresholds are acceptable.
How the RCBO Works
This RCBO operates as a combined protection system:
• Detects overload & short circuit conditions similar to an MCB
• Detects earth leakage currents similar to an RCCB
• Trips automatically when abnormal conditions are detected
• Disconnects both live & neutral through double pole operation
