The AU RCBO 63A DP 240V AC 10kA 100mA C Curve is a high-capacity protection device that combines the functionality of an MCB & an RCCB into a single unit. It is designed to protect electrical circuits against overload, short circuit, & earth leakage faults in demanding applications.
With a 63A current rating, this RCBO is suitable for heavy-duty circuits such as main distribution lines, large appliances, & industrial equipment. The 100mA sensitivity is primarily used for equipment protection & fire safety in systems where higher leakage thresholds are required.
How the RCBO Works
This RCBO operates as a combined protection system:
• Detects overload & short circuit conditions similar to an MCB
• Detects earth leakage currents similar to an RCCB
• Trips automatically when abnormal conditions are detected
• Disconnects both live & neutral through double pole operation
